We are committed to providing you and your dancers with age appropriate costuming and choreography.
We strongly believe in letting kids be kids! We want them to be dressed and dancing that way at all times
We offer developmental and age appropriate programming.
While your child will have the opportunity to join a dance team if that is something they are interested in, we have just as high of a focus on our recreational program.
Every students at Hearts in Motion feels like a special and important part of the studio!

Our staff is focused on continued education and bringing the best to your dancers.
We employ a strong and caring staff of instructors.
Our studio is a More Than Just Great Dance certified studio.
This means we are part of an organization that focuses on best practices and continued training for our studio staff. We are also YPAD certified which means that all of our staff members have completed training regarding safe dance practices in regards to social, emotional, and physical wellness. Our teachers are all First Aid/CPR certified and background checked.

Our Story
Hearts in Motion was created in 2010 with one simple goal: to create a dance studio
where all students could enjoy the magic of dance.
We started small with Saturday drop-in classes. By December 2010, our little program had grown into a regular group of dancers, we were invited to perform
The Grinch at an Amway Christmas Party. It was a big hit!
From there, Hearts in Motion began to grow quickly.
We held our first annual recital in 2011 with just 30 dancers, added weekly mini-sessions, sold out a recital at Wealthy Theatre, and eventually outgrew our temporary location.
Growing Together
In 2015, we moved to our larger Plainfield location, giving us room to expand
to three studios with professionally sprung dance floors.
Since then, we’ve continued to grow with an amazing professional staff, an award-winning competition team, community performances, travel opportunities—including performing at Disney World—and our satellite location in downtown Ada for dancers ages 10 and under.
Through it all, our focus has remained the same: our dancers and families.
Hearts in Motion is more than a dance studio. We’re a family-friendly community where dancers can learn, grow, perform, and create memories that last a lifetime.
